Framing Narratives

Don't even Think of an Elephant!

The gist of this riff?
The impact of whine and geez!
Walk** Like an Egyptian!*

[3-14-12 asterisks added ]

[ "I feel like I can say anything[!]..." NOT!***]

*It is ironic that Betty Knox went on to be a war correspondent.

*** an example of spin: former quote actually in latter link.
(warning under "anything" (maybe)requires Facebook membership)
[Not to pun on Dead C Scrolls, but I hope there are no cross ups(2) in my links.]
[Oops, see comments, and cartoon.]

Under "never mind" I have now read the latter and the former maybe later. The "mind" is a very academic place. The "never" a more pragmatic problem under the umbrella of our creators. Whether I ever get to read the "git mo" piece may be irrelevant. The point germinates from our "Try Angle" and the dilemma of transparency and the dangers of ab-solutions. (pun on absolutes) [I don't think absolute freedom of information is possible, let alone pragmatic. But the emphasis it on "absolute", as well as a careful reading of our architectural documents, which I believe lay the organic groundwork for progress, as opposed to Jeramiahs(^). Critics of the president must realize that he is responsible whether Congress frames the right tools or the Global Village (let alone Supreme Court) goes along. Yet I am still digesting James Fallows take here, where ultimately it is our choice to choose forward or Re-verse. C- Elephant (3)]

(^) 3-16-12 spell check Jeremiah
(Original: synonym for pessimists, not to pun on prophetic hope.)

Note: new convention or rather notation, (2) means see second link above, and in this case only for 2 of the links that follow. Hint: cross is a pun on the saving grace of humor or me aning. (and in this case is my aning suspicious? i.e. the parsing of meaning to me aning or even mean-ing? ) Not that laughter as medicine can't be od'd or prescriptive.

Language alert! Re:"cross" last comment. It appears that "aning" is Swedish. AND there also happens to be a Dr. "E Manual Queasy" Aning. And in the present case, I mean no disrespect to a leader of an important UN committee, but it was not on my mind, if I had ever crossed over it before. In regards to the "cross" I was missing he "marks" in the earlier comment. In regards to the Doctor, I took liberties with his name. There truly is a Dr. Emmanuel Kwesi Aning which I cannot say I have or had not heard of before.

Third times a charm? Re:"***" The Mises link, is a challenge to one's intelligence. Not that my method is not. And I just found that linking to it actually takes you close enough to the quote that I have used as a foundation for my Facebook leap, under "anything". It is my opinion that there are "market" forces that are shaping beliefs that run counter to what really matters, and it is a battle for whatever that means. There is nothing wrong with that battle, it is a point of our being as a nation. Not to cast any guilt by association but Francis Fukuyama is at a different point on the conservative academic spectrum. No less a challenge to follow, I believe he has at least a more balanced perspective, than the likes of Thomas Sowell.

Thomas Sowell, like Francis Fukuyama, is not necessarily of a conservative mold. They are only associated by their not being what the conservatives seem to have become, but each in their own way. Sowell from a more libertarian perspective, and Fukuyama from a more moderate perspective. Anyone might benefit from a more rounded perspective of each of them, as might they of others; Sowell in his foundations and Fukuyama in his futures, ironically or maybe naturally in their Utopian perspectives and reactions to such.

Re: N-FRY (NOT to pun on Nuance, but the underlying scroll-over), where
N= "dynamics" BS(blog search)
FRY= "heck is the point" BS
NFRY= not fully read yet
Re: = Link to "Try Angle" (previous post)
"never mind" references dilemmas of balance, reflected in the pinnacle of power, as nuanced by analysis. Not they are both not over my head, let alone pay grade(which at this point is zilch)
